Nicole is a self-taught director, photographer, and dp born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. She loves shooting, making things, and collaborating with others.
She runs a boutique production studio called so blur.
Drawn to underrepresented narratives that blend naturalism and stylized elements, Nicole’s recent film work includes two narrative short films “Like Honey” (2022), which premiered at the 30th San Diego Latino Film Festival and “Farewell” (2022) which is active in the submission circuit.
She is currently in post-production as the director and dp of “Angel” (2023) a short film about a woman’s surrealistic encounter with the divine.
