Sustainability Press Kits - Taylor Guitars
Taylor Guitars has been a pioneer in sustainability work for the past 10 years, spearheading groundbreaking studies in partnership with UCLA about Ebony research and propagation, as well as working with stewardship contractors in Hawaii to reforest Koa.
The goal with these videos was to interview Bob Taylor, the originator of this sustainability work, to understand why sustainability is important at Taylor Guitars, and to create interest for media platforms to document this sustainability work.
It was important to create an elegant interview setup with multiple cameras, to allow for the moments when archival b-roll was not enough to fill the edit. I also captured more b-roll at the factory when necessary. Overall it was a very satisfying project to be part of, as it is truly exciting to know that sustainability legacy is important to musicians and music lovers.
